Yogesh Koirala (Yogi) , Ph.D.

Board of Director

Yogesh (Yogi) holds a Ph.D. degree in Chemical Engineering and is a dedicated practitioner of “Vipassana,” which means “to see things as they are.” This technique focuses on the deep interconnection between the mind and body, which can be experienced directly through disciplined attention to the physical sensations within the body. These sensations form the essence of life and continuously condition our minds.

Yogi came to the United States from Nepal during his late teens to study at Lewis-Clark State College in Lewiston, Idaho, and later moved around the United States, facing and embracing life’s challenges and opportunities.   Drawing from his experiences as a lecturer and postdoctoral research associate at Texas A&M University, 6 plus years of work as an engineer at Micron, 1 plus years of work at a Mental Health Clinic of Idaho, and many life lessons, he will be actively involved in supporting the development and delivery of courses that allows children to understand mind and body connection and live their life more naturally.
